Service Description

Metallic Sunflower Calligraphy Club, West Yorkshire Fancy a little creative time for yourself each month? This club is a monthly brush pen calligraphy club in West Yorkshire, created for anyone who would like to practise their calligraphy, build confidence and enjoy some creative time in good company. This isn't an intensive workshop or formal class. Instead, each one-hour session offers guided activity with gentle calligraphy instruction, a simple creative focus and plenty of time to practise at your own pace. I'll be able to offer encouragement, feedback and answer questions throughout the session. Whether you're new to modern calligraphy or have attended one of my beginners calligraphy workshops before, or have been practising your brush lettering skills for a while, you'll be very welcome. We'll meet monthly in a lovely local cafe, creating relaxed space to enjoy brush pen calligraphy, creativity and conversation alongside a cuppa. What to expect. 1 hour of relaxed calligraphy practise each month Gentle guidance and individual feedback (as an experienced teacher, I know this will help you to progress) A different creative focus/project each month Support to improve your brush pen calligraphy and lettering A small, friendly group A welcoming environment for beginners and more experienced calligraphers Bring your favourite brush pens and calligraphy paper (although not essential as I will provide some to borrow) come along ready to practise, experiment and enjoy creating. Founding Member Offer The first Metallic Sunflower Calligraphy Club will be limited to just 4 members, allowing me to keep the group small and give everyone plenty of individual attention. Founding members can join all three sessions from October to December pre-paid for £36 (£12 per session). From January, the regular club price will increase to £15 per month.
